We are working with a professional business in Hull who are looking for an enthusiastic Administrator to join their Business Development team.

You’ll work closely with the team and colleagues across the wider business, providing practical administrative support that helps keep activities organised and projects moving forward.

What the Administrator job involves

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining databases and updating client information, making sure records are accurate.
• Providing administrative support for marketing and communications activities.
• Assisting colleagues with business development projects.
• Preparing documents, presentations and materials for colleagues.
• Keeping track of actions, deadlines and follow-ups.
• Helping to coordinate the practical arrangements for events and seminars.

This role would suit someone who enjoys bringing the details together, whether that means preparing materials, keeping information up to date or helping organise an event.

Skills and experience required

We’re looking for someone who enjoys being organised, works well with others and brings a positive approach to their work.

• Good attention to detail and a commitment to completing tasks accurately.
• The ability to manage a range of tasks and priorities.
• Clear, professional communication skills.
• A dependable approach and a willingness to support colleagues.
• Curiosity and the confidence to learn new systems and ways of working.
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, would be helpful, but a willingness to learn is most important.

• Full time working 35 hours a week
• Car parking is available
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
