Early Career Teacher (ECT)

Early Career Teacher (ECT) - Warrington

120-165 per day | Classroom Experience | Local Schools

Your teaching qualification is just the beginning. Where will your career take you next?

If you're an Early Career Teacher looking to develop your skills, explore different school environments and gain experience beyond your teacher training placements, we have exciting opportunities throughout Warrington.

We're working with local schools seeking enthusiastic, motivated teachers who are ready to make a positive difference in the classroom.

With exceptionally high demand for teaching cover, we're able to offer regular opportunities for newly qualified teachers to develop their confidence and gain practical experience.

Build your experience in local classrooms

As an ECT working on supply, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Earn 115-135 per day , depending on experience and assignment.
• Gain experience delivering lessons and supporting pupils across different classroom settings.
• Strengthen your behaviour management and lesson delivery skills.
• Discover which school environments best suit your teaching style.
• Develop professional relationships with local schools and teaching staff.
• Access both short-term teaching assignments and longer-term placements.
• Explore potential permanent opportunities as your career progresses.

Teaching opportunities close to where you live

You shouldn't need to spend hours commuting to gain valuable classroom experience.

We work with schools throughout Warrington, including Great Sankey, Birchwood, Penketh, Stockton Heath and neighbouring communities.

We'll take your preferred location into account when discussing suitable assignments.

What we're looking for

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Completion of initial teacher training.
• Enthusiasm for teaching and supporting young people.
• The ability to adapt to different classroom environments.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• A professional approach to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Support as you develop

We understand that the first stages of a teaching career can be challenging. You'll have a dedicated consultant to discuss assignments, preferences and future career goals.

Longer-term placements may provide opportunities to undertake statutory ECT induction where the school and placement meet the necessary requirements. Day-to-day supply assignments do not automatically count towards induction.

Take your next step in teaching

Whether you're available immediately or exploring your options for the coming term, we'd welcome an application.

Apply today to discuss ECT opportunities across Warrington.
