Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Civils Supervisor on a 9 Month Contract, located in Kent.
Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day civils activities on site, including groundworks, foundations, drainage, ducting, cable routes and concrete works
Direct and coordinate gangs, operatives and subcontractors to meet programme and quality requirements
Brief teams on method statements, risk assessments and permits to work, and make sure they are followed
Check works against drawings and specifications, and raise any issues or clashes promptly
Carry out and record inspections, including quality checks, hold points and sign-offs
Promote and enforce site health, safety and environmental standards, and lead by example
Maintain accurate site records, daily diaries and progress reports
Liaise with the site manager, engineers, the client and other contractors
Requirements
Previous civils supervisory experience on converter stations
Valid CSCS card
SSSTS or SMSTS (valid and in date)
Right to work in the UK
Ability to read and work from civils drawings and specifications
Experience on HVDC or other major energy, substation or utilities projects
First aid at work certificate
Temporary works awareness
CPCS, NPORS or other plant qualifications
Experience with groundworks and concrete works for heavy electrical infrastructure
Full UK driving licence
