Maintenance Assistant

We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Maintenance Assistant to join our maintenance team at CoorsTek.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in maintenance or engineering, or someone with practical experience who would like to develop their skills further in a manufacturing environment.

You don't need years of experience to join us. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in how things work.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Assistant, you'll work alongside our experienced maintenance team, helping to keep our machinery, equipment and facilities operating safely and efficiently.

You'll be involved in a variety of maintenance activities, supporting both planned and reactive maintenance while gaining valuable hands-on experience.

It's a varied role where you'll have the opportunity to learn new skills, take on different challenges and make a real contribution to the smooth running of our site.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with general mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks under appropriate supervision.
• Support planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance activities.
• Help identify equipment faults and assist with basic repairs.
• Carry out general site maintenance and upkeep.
• Ensure tools, equipment and work areas are kept clean, tidy and safe.
• Assist experienced maintenance engineers with day-to-day activities.
• Follow health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Work closely with colleagues across the site to support efficient operations.

• A practical, hands-on approach and an interest in maintenance or engineering.

Previous experience in maintenance, engineering, manufacturing or a similar hands-on environment would be an advantage, but is not essential.
