About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially astute Kitchen Sales Designer who can turn customers' ideas into beautifully considered living spaces.

The position offers a varied combination of design, customer engagement and sales, with responsibility for developing opportunities, presenting solutions and securing new business.

The successful applicant will be confident working independently, managing customer expectations and delivering an excellent experience throughout the purchasing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative kitchen concepts that reflect individual customer requirements, lifestyles and budgets.
• Opening and closing the premises, working alone.
• Build rapport with prospective customers and identify opportunities to generate sales.
• Prepare professional design presentations, product specifications and detailed quotations.
• Guide customers through the purchasing process, providing knowledgeable advice and recommendations.
• Maintain regular communication with prospective clients to progress enquiries into confirmed orders.
• Take ownership of individual sales performance and contribute towards wider business objectives.
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure customer requirements are delivered accurately.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, organisation and customer care.

Requirements / Skills

• Previous experience in kitchen design, interior sales or a related customer-facing design environment.
• Confident using CAD or similar design software.
• Strong sales ability with a natural flair for identifying customer needs and securing business.
• An appreciation of interior design, space planning and product coordination.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of customers.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to balance creative solutions with customer budgets.
• Self-motivated, organised and comfortable managing several projects simultaneously.
• A professional, approachable personality with a genuine interest in helping customers achieve their aspirations.
• Flexibility to accommodate showroom trading requirements, including weekends.
