Description

Prepare and manage monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timelines.
Monitor budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and providing recommendations.
Support the preparation of financial reports and analysis for senior management.
Manage cash flow and oversee financial controls within the organisation.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and systems.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Assist in year-end audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
Provide financial insight to help drive business decisions and strategy.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

Professional qualifications in accounting or finance, such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
Experience with international accounting.
Proven experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Familiarity with accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements in the UK.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
