Laser Punching Operative

Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Temp to Perm Laser/Punching Operator, working for a client located in Ferryhill. Starting on dayshift for induction and training before moving onto a 2-shift rotation.

Laser/Punching Operator Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Working on a 2-shift rotation, running Bystronic fibre lasers and CO2 lasers.
• Work through various jobs without assistance and setting machine tools.
• In process inspections are to be carried out at the correct frequency and to the correct standard.

Laser/Punching Operator Applicants:

• Experience running Trumpf punches is desired, with potential future training provided depending on performance.
• The ability to work unsupervised is required as the successful individual will be required to work through various jobs without assistance.
• Experience of working to and understanding engineering drawings is essential in both first and third angle projection.
• Capable of running Bystronic fibre lasers and CO2 lasers.

Initially starting on dayshift for induction and training before moving onto a 2-shift rotation. Hourly rates:

Days: 12.71

2-shift: 15.25

Day Shift:

Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 12.30pm.

2-Shifts:

Monday to Thursday 2.30pm - 11pm and Friday 12.30pm - 7pm & Monday to Thursday 6am - 2.30pm and Friday 6am - 12.30pm.
