Supply Primary Teachers Required

Supply Teaching Opportunities - Salford- Flexible Work Available Now

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a wide range of primary schools across Salford , offering day-to-day supply, short-term placements and long-term teaching opportunities. Whether you are an experienced teacher looking for greater flexibility or an ECT exploring your options , supply teaching is a fantastic way to gain experience, build confidence and find the right school for you.

Supply teaching gives you the opportunity to experience different school environments, work with a variety of year groups and build relationships with schools across the area. Many teachers use supply to discover which settings suit their teaching style, and successful placements can lead to longer-term opportunities when the right fit is found.

Why consider supply teaching?

• Flexibility and work-life balance - choose day-to-day, short-term or long-term opportunities that suit your availability and commitments.
• Explore different schools - experience a range of settings, leadership styles, behaviour policies and teaching approaches before deciding where you would like to settle.
• A great option for ECTs - gain classroom experience across different year groups and schools while exploring where you would like to begin your induction. You can get to know a school before considering a longer-term commitment.
• Build valuable relationships - working with different schools helps you establish connections with headteachers, senior leaders and staff, potentially opening doors to long-term roles and permanent positions.
• Develop your teaching experience - broaden your experience across year groups, key stages, subjects and pupil needs, strengthening your CV and classroom confidence.
• Less additional responsibility - day-to-day supply often means following the school's existing plans rather than taking on the full planning, assessment and wider responsibilities associated with a permanent class teacher role. Responsibilities will vary depending on the placement.
• A route into long-term work - if you find a school where you feel comfortable and your teaching makes a positive impression, supply can be a stepping stone to a longer-term position.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) .
• Be confident delivering engaging lessons and managing classroom behaviour.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and follow each school's policies and procedures.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Be reliable, flexible and committed to supporting pupils' learning and wellbeing.

Requirements:

• Hold the right to work in the UK .
• Hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check.
• Provide suitable references covering recent experience.
• Be committed to maintaining high professional and safeguarding standards.

Whether you are an ECT looking to find the right school before committing to induction , an experienced teacher seeking flexibility, or someone interested in securing a long-term position, Tradewind Recruitment can help you explore opportunities that match your goals.
