Contracts Manager

Contracts Manager | West Yorkshire | £70k - £80k + Car / Allowance + Package Looking for a Contracts Manager role where you'll have the autonomy to run your own projects, manage your site teams and play a key role in the delivery of a varied workload? We're recruiting for an established regional main contractor looking to strengthen their operational team with an experienced Contracts Manager. • Oversee programmes, resources, quality and health & safety
• Work closely with commercial teams to monitor costs, procurement and project performance
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
• Monitor progress across live projects, identifying risks and resolving issues before they affect delivery
• Attend client meetings and provide regular updates on programme and project performance
• Ensure projects are properly resourced and delivered to the required standards

What We're Looking For;

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager with a main contractor
• Strong background in general building, including new build and refurbishment projects
• Comfortable overseeing multiple projects at any one time
• Experience across sectors such as industrial, leisure, healthcare or education would be advantageous
• Confident managing Site Managers, subcontractors and project teams
• Good understanding of construction programmes, commercial management and contractual requirements
• Strong communication skills and a practical approach to problem-solving

Why Consider It?

• Competitive salary + car allowance + package, depending on experience
• Established regional contractor with a strong reputation
• Healthy pipeline of work across a variety of sectors
• Autonomy to manage your own workload and project teams
• Opportunity to play an important role within the operational management team
• Long-term position with a well-established business

This could suit an experienced Contracts Manager looking for a fresh challenge, particularly someone who enjoys managing several smaller to medium-sized projects rather than being tied to one large scheme.
