Site Manager

Contract: Freelance / Temporary

Sphere Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to provide holiday cover on a construction project in Yeovil for an initial two-week period.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors and trades, maintaining health and safety standards, and ensuring works progress in line with the project programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors.
• Monitor progress, workmanship and quality of works.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.
• Review RAMS and conduct site inspections.
• Coordinate labour, materials and deliveries.
• Maintain site records and provide progress updates.
• Ensure the site remains organised, safe and compliant throughout the cover period.

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Manager within construction.
• Valid SMSTS.
• Valid CSCS card.
• In-date First Aid certificate.
• Strong communication, organisational and site management skills.
