BIM Information Manager / BIM Coordinator - iTwin Review & Building Containers Specialist

London | Major Infrastructure Programme | Outside IR35

I am looking to speak with BIM and Digital Engineering professionals who have a strong background working within Bentley iTwin environments.

The key requirement for this opportunity is hands-on iTwin experience , specifically reviewing, managing and interrogating iTwins, with a focus on Building Containers, model manipulation, model reviews, coordination, and clash detection .

This is not a traditional BIM coordination role. The emphasis is on improving governance, structure and best practice within an existing iTwin environment.

Essential Skills

• Bentley iTwin
• ProjectWise
• MicroStation
• OpenBuildings
• OpenRoads and/or OpenRail

Key Requirement

The business currently lacks suitable governance and information management processes within its iTwin environment and requires someone capable of implementing best practice across:

• iTwin reviews and interrogation
• Building Containers
• Model manipulation and validation
• Information management and governance
• Model reviews and coordination
• Clash detection and issue resolution
• Digital delivery processes and workflows
• BIM maturity improvements

Ideal Background

• Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience specifically working within iTwin environments
• Experience reviewing and managing iTwins rather than solely working within broader BIM functions
• Strong understanding of Bentley's digital delivery ecosystem
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary infrastructure models
• Ability to establish governance, standards and best practice
• Comfortable engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Infrastructure, rail, highways or major project experience preferred
• Previous HS2 experience is not essential

Responsibilities

• Review and manage iTwin models and Building Containers
• Carry out model reviews and issue identification
• Perform clash detection and coordinate resolution activities
• Improve model quality, governance and compliance
• Drive adoption of efficient information management practices
• Support multidisciplinary design teams operating within Bentley environments
• Develop and implement robust digital delivery workflows
• Help improve overall BIM and Digital Engineering maturity
