Purchase Ledger Administrator

I am working with a key client in the Ramsey area to find a temporary Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their small, friendly finance team on an initial 3-month contract.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous purchase ledger experience and, in particular, good working knowledge of SAGE . The role would suit someone who is organised, has excellent attention to detail and is confident managing their own workload while working as part of a close-knit team.

The position is initially for 3 months, although there is potential for the role to develop into something longer term for the right person.

Key responsibilities:

• Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
• Matching, batching and coding invoices
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Handling supplier queries and resolving discrepancies
• Supporting payment runs and maintaining accurate financial records
• Providing general support to the wider finance team as required

About you:

• Previous purchase ledger experience is essential
• Good working knowledge of SAGE is a must
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• A proactive approach, with the ability to manage your own workload
• A team player who enjoys working in a small, friendly finance team
• Ideally available to start within the next two weeks

• Location: Ramsey
• Hours: Part-time or full-time applicants considered
• Duration: Initially 3 months, with the potential to become longer term
• Working arrangement: Fully site-based due to the nature of the business
• Start date: Ideally within the next two weeks
• Hourly rate 14.36 per hour
