Location: Derbyshire (Office Based with UK & European Travel)
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Private Healthcare + Excellent Benefits

Drive Growth in a Global Engineering Business

We are partnering with a highly successful, international engineering organisation that designs and supplies specialist systems and solutions to the global energy sector. Operating across power generation, hydrogen storage, carbon capture, waste-to-energy, oil & gas, and industrial markets, the business has experienced exceptional growth, increasing turnover significantly over recent years and continuing to invest in its sales capability.

With ambitious plans for further expansion, they are now seeking a Sales Manager to drive the growth of their specialist filtration division, supporting key customers and developing new opportunities across the UK and Europe.

The Opportunity

This is a strategic sales position with responsibility for developing and managing relationships within the power generation, oil & gas, and wider energy sectors. You will inherit an established customer base while also identifying and winning new business opportunities to support ambitious revenue growth plans.

Working closely with engineering, project management, quality, and supply chain teams, you will play a key role in delivering technically focused filtration solutions for some of the world's leading industrial operators.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales within existing customer accounts across the energy sector.
• Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities within power generation, oil & gas, hydrogen, and industrial markets.
• Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
• Generate quotations and commercially competitive proposals.
• Review customer specifications, technical documentation, and project requirements.
• Support marketing initiatives, exhibitions, trade events, and customer presentations.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline activity.
• Conduct customer visits, site surveys, and condition assessments where required.
• Work collaboratively with internal engineering and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Achieve and exceed order intake and revenue targets.

About You

We are interested in speaking with ambitious sales professionals who have experience within technical or engineering-led industries.

Experience within one or more of the following sectors would be highly advantageous:

• Industrial Filtration
• Gas Turbines
• Power Generation
• Oil & Gas
• Rotating Equipment
• Mechanical Components
• Process Equipment
• Industrial Consumables
• Energy Infrastructure

Requirements

• Experience in a sales, account management, or business development role.
• Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and managing customer relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand technical products and solutions.
• Knowledge of power generation, gas turbines, or filtration systems is highly desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout the UK and Europe (approximately 40-50% of the time).
