SEN Teacher - Specialist Autism School

Location: Sheffield | Pay: 150-230 per day | Role: SEN Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Sheffield , supporting young people aged 11-19 with Autism Spectrum Condition and communication needs .

The Role

You will plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons while supporting pupils' communication, independence, emotional regulation and life skills.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has QTS and experience teaching SEN and/or autism .
• Can adapt teaching to individual needs.
• Is calm, patient and resilient.
• Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Works effectively with support staff and other professionals.

Team Teach training/experience is highly desirable , although equivalent behaviour-support training will be considered.

Pay

150-230 per day , depending on experience, qualifications and training.

To access the higher rate, candidates should have relevant specialist SEN/autism experience, appropriate training and be available full-time . The school will make the final decision on the rate offered.
