Site Maintenance Operative

SITE MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE

We are currently recruiting for a Site Operative to work for one of our clients in Portbury on a temp to perm basis.

This is a hands-on role responsible for the general upkeep, maintenance and presentation of the site and grounds. The successful candidate will be practical, reliable and happy working outdoors, carrying out a variety of general maintenance and site duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• General upkeep and maintenance of the site and surrounding grounds.
• Keeping car parks, walkways and working areas clean, tidy and presentable.
• Painting and maintaining car parking lines and markings.
• Carrying out minor repairs and basic maintenance around the site.
• Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues or hazards.
• General grounds maintenance and keeping outdoor areas in good condition.
• Moving materials, equipment and other items around the site as required.
• Assisting with general site duties and upkeep.
• Ensuring the site remains safe, clean and well maintained.
• Using basic hand and power tools where required.
• Supporting the wider site team with ad-hoc maintenance tasks.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in site maintenance, grounds maintenance, facilities, general maintenance or a similar role is desirable.
• Practical and confident carrying out minor repairs.
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
• Happy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
• Good attention to detail, particularly when painting car park markings.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Good understanding of general health and safety.
• A full UK driving licence is desirable.
