Painter / loader

If you are an experienced Industrial Paint Sprayer with experience working with Structural Steel, we'd like to hear from you!

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in industrial spray painting, protective coatings or heavy structural steel looking for long-term work within a busy engineering environment.

The Role

• Preparing structural steel surfaces for painting, including cleaning and blasting
• Applying industrial primers, paints and protective coatings
• Operating spray guns and associated painting equipment
• Mixing paints and coatings to specification
• Inspecting finished steelwork to ensure high-quality finishes
• Using overhead cranes to move and position steel components

Requirements

• Previous industrial painting or spray painting experience
• Experience working with structural steel or heavy fabricated components preferred
• Knowledge of surface preparation and protective coatings
• Ability to operate overhead cranes - essential
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently
