Parts Supervisor

We are recruiting for a Parts Supervisor in Guildford on behalf of a reputable automotive dealership. This Parts Supervisor role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to lead a busy parts department within an esteemed business committed to delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction. The successful Parts Supervisor will play a key role in contributing to the ongoing success of the dealership.

Duties:

• Oversee daily operations of the parts department, ensuring stock levels are maintained and inventory accuracy is upheld
• Lead, support, and develop the parts team to deliver excellent customer service
• Manage stock control procedures, including regular stock audits and reconciliation
• Process parts orders, invoices, and deliveries accurately and efficiently
• Provide expert advice to customers both face-to-face and over the phone, understanding their needs and recommending solutions
• Work collaboratively with workshop and other internal departments to support workshop productivity and customer satisfaction
• Handle customer complaints professionally, escalating unresolved issues as necessary

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a main dealer parts department or similar environment
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience
• Familiarity with Kerridge or equivalent dealer management systems
• Strong organisational and stock management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• High attention to detail and a customer-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence
