Salary: Up to £56,160 per annum
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6am–6pm OR 6pm–6am
Location: Daventry
Contract: Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy workshop in Daventry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a 4-day working week, with the option of either day or night shifts and excellent overtime opportunities.

The Role

• As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of a range of HGVs and trailers.
• Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance on HGVs and trailers
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
• Completing inspections and preventative maintenance
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety requirements
• Working as part of a professional and supportive workshop team
• Completing relevant paperwork and maintenance records

The Shifts

• You can choose between:
• Day Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6am–6pm
• Night Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6pm–6am

About You

• We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician who has a strong mechanical background and is confident working on commercial vehicles.
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician / LGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Experience working on HGVs and/or trailers
• Good mechanical and diagnostic skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
