We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable family-run dealership based in Brentwood, Essex, for a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician. The Vehicle Technician will form a vital part of their dedicated team, providing top-quality service and maintaining their excellent reputation for customer satisfaction.

Duties:

Accurately and efficiently undertake vehicle repairs and servicing
Diagnose faults precisely, ensuring all work is compliant with safety and quality standards
Carry out mechanical and electrical tasks delegated by the workshop supervisor
Keep detailed records of parts used and time spent on repairs
Road test vehicles to verify repair quality
Ensure all work is completed within agreed timescales and to company standards

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent qualification
Experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician post-apprenticeship
Full UK driving licence
Own set of tools
Experience working on a range of vehicle repairs, including diagnostics, cambelts, and timing chains
Confident working independently and managing a varied workload
