Lead Technical Safety Manager

Lead Technical Safety Manager Location: London
Contract Type: Permanent Key Responsibilities

• Own the growth and direction of the Technical Safety team
• Lead business development and convert your network into new opportunities
• Act as the senior technical representative with clients
• Lead HAZID, HAZOP, and SIL/LOPA workshops
• Oversee QRA, FERA, EERA, and ALARP demonstration
• Guide Loss Prevention, Safety Case, and COMAH work
• Mentor and develop engineers as the team expands

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Technical Safety, primarily within oil & gas
• Recognised expertise in QRA, FERA, SECE identification, performance standards, and barrier development
• Strong understanding of the UK regulatory framework
• Engineering degree or Master's, ideally in Chemical Engineering
• Functional Safety and HAZOP Leader certification preferred
