Business Development Manager - Aerospace

Buckinghamshire | Field Based | 50,000+ DOE + 15% Bonus + Company Car

We're recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join a well-established and growing business, taking a key role in developing sales within the aerospace market.

This is a predominantly field-based role focused on winning new business, developing existing customer relationships and building a strong sales pipeline.

We're particularly interested in speaking to people with experience within aerospace or fasteners. Ideally you'll bring both, but this isn't essential - strong aerospace sales experience with another product, or fastener sales experience within another industry, could work equally well.

What You'll Be Doing

• Developing new business and identifying opportunities for profitable sales growth
• Managing and developing existing customer relationships
• Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline
• Regularly meeting customers face-to-face across your territory
• Working towards sales, turnover and gross margin targets
• Working closely with internal sales and wider teams to develop opportunities
• Providing market and customer insight to support future growth
• Promoting the business and its capabilities through customer visits, networking and industry activity
• Supporting presentations and proposals to prospective and existing customers

About You

• Proven experience within business development, field sales or account management
• Ideally experience selling fasteners within aerospace
• Alternatively, experience within aerospace sales or fastener sales within another sector
• A strong new business mindset with the drive to identify and convert opportunities
• Commercially aware and comfortable working to sales and profitability targets
• Confident building relationships with customers and key decision-makers
• Proactive, organised and comfortable managing your own diary and customer activity
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Full UK driving licence

Hours

Monday-Thursday: 08:30-17:00
Friday: 08:30-15:30

Location

Predominantly field based, with one day per week at the Buckinghamshire office and the remainder of the week expected to be customer-facing.
