Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, fully office-based
Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm, with 1 hour for lunch
Contract: Temporary, 3-6 months
Rate: 16-18 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Receptionist to join the Exeter office of a well-established UK business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a friendly, confident and proactive individual who enjoys working with people and wants to gain experience within a professional office environment.

The role offers much more than traditional reception duties. Alongside being the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will provide wider administrative and office support, work closely with the Office Manager and become an important part of the day-to-day running of the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, colleagues and external stakeholders
• Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
• Welcoming visitors and ensuring they receive a professional and friendly experience
• Supporting new starters and leavers
• Assisting the Office Manager with general administration and office organisation
• Supporting internal communications and keeping information up to date
• Assisting with charity initiatives, fundraising activities and company events
• Supporting employee awards and recognition activities
• Maintaining office supplies and organising regular office requirements
• Supporting general workplace administration
• Helping with general office queries and providing support across the wider team
• Deputising for the Office Manager when required

What's on Offer?

• 16-18 per hour
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
