Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Teacher of English to join a welcoming secondary school in Ormskirk . This is a full-time temporary position starting immediately and running until Christmas , offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced English Teacher or a confident ECT looking for their next role.

The successful Teacher of English will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-planned English lessons across the secondary age range, helping students to develop their literacy, reading and writing skills. You will join a supportive department and contribute positively to the wider school community.

The Role:

• Full-time Teacher of English position
• Immediate start until Christmas
• Teaching English across KS3 and/or KS4
• Planning and delivering engaging English lessons
• Supporting students to make progress and achieve their potential
• Working collaboratively with the English department and wider school team
• Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and learning

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching English in a secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Able to build positive relationships with students
• Available to start immediately
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

This Teacher of English role would suit an experienced secondary English Teacher, an ECT looking for further classroom experience, or a teacher seeking a temporary position in the Ormskirk area.
