Morson Edge is currently seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their team.

Rate: £26.19 Umbrella / £19.70 PAYE

You’ll be producing high-quality aircraft components using stretch forming and associated fabrication techniques, working within a team that genuinely values precision, adherence to process, and pride in delivering quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out stretch forming of aircraft sheet metal components to exact specifications
• Marking out, cutting, and forming materials accurately in line with engineering requirements
• Working confidently from engineering drawings, templates, and detailed work instructions
• Using a range of hand tools and mechanical aids, including presses and forming equipment
• Ensuring all completed work consistently meets strict quality and safety standards
• Maintaining a clean, compliant, and well-controlled working environment at all times

Requirements

• Time-served apprenticeship in Sheet Metal Work or a closely related discipline
• Previous experience within aerospace manufacturing is preferred
• Strong, practical understanding of sheet metal forming processes and techniques
• Ability to accurately interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical documentation
• High attention to detail, with a focus on producing consistent, high-quality workmanship
