Location: Rochdale
Start Date: Immediate start to Christmas with possible extension to 2027.
Pay: 160 - 200 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, long-term Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3pm.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Rochdale. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons in Dance , with a focus on the Pearson BTEC Performing Arts (Dance) Specification .

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Dance lessons across KS3-KS5.
• Teach and assess to the Pearson BTEC Performing Arts Dance curriculum.
• Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
• Contribute to the wider performing arts department and school community.
• Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour management.

Requirements:

• A recognised Dance qualification .
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
• Proven experience teaching Dance within a secondary school, specifically delivering the Pearson BTEC Performing Arts Dance Specification .
• A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
