Are you an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new opportunity?

We are currently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive SEND school near Cromer, Norfolk , working within a Year 3 class .

This is a fantastic full-time opportunity , initially on a temporary basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and wider team to support pupils with their learning, development and individual needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils within a Year 3 SEND classroom.
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required.
• Helping pupils engage with learning and classroom activities.
• Supporting communication, social and emotional development.
• Encouraging independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
• Creating a calm, safe and nurturing learning environment.
• Working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure pupils receive the best possible support.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

• Caring, patient and approachable.
• Has previous experience in a SEND environment
• Passionate about supporting children with SEND.
• Resilient and able to remain calm and positive.
• Enthusiastic and willing to get involved.
• A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Experienced in working with children with SEND or keen to develop their experience within a specialist setting.

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working within a SEND environment would be advantageous, but the right attitude and commitment are equally important .
