Location: Bradford (BD10)
Salary: circa 35,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Job Type: Permanent

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Development Executive to join a growing and ambitious business within the education sector, based in Bradford.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional who is confident building relationships, generating new business and managing the full sales process from initial contact through to conversion.

You will play a key role in driving new business growth, developing relationships with schools and education professionals, and helping the business continue to expand its customer base.

The Role

As Sales Development Executive, you will be responsible for:

• Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities within the education sector.
• Making outbound calls and engaging with prospective customers.
• Building strong, long-term relationships with schools and key decision-makers.
• Understanding customer requirements and presenting suitable solutions.
• Managing leads from initial enquiry through to conversion.
• Following up quotations and opportunities to maximise conversion.
• Maintaining accurate records of calls, activity and sales opportunities.
• Working towards agreed sales targets and KPIs.
• Developing existing accounts and identifying opportunities for further growth.
• Keeping up to date with market trends and developments within the education sector.
• Working closely with internal teams to ensure a high level of customer service.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• An experienced sales professional with a proven track record of generating new business.
• Confident and comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with senior decision-makers.
• Commercially driven, target-focused and motivated by achieving results.
• Excellent at building rapport and developing professional relationships.
• Resilient and persistent, with the ability to manage objections effectively.
• Organised and able to manage multiple opportunities at different stages of the sales process.
• A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• Comfortable working towards KPIs and activity targets.
• Ideally experienced within education, schools, SaaS, technology, recruitment or another B2B environment, although strong transferable sales experience will be considered.
