Located just a five-minute walk from Leeds train station, the practice offers a modern, open-plan studio with excellent natural light, impressive views, and a supportive, collaborative working environment. With a flexible hybrid working policy, this is an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technologist seeking both career progression and a healthy work-life balance.

Initially, you will be involved in multiple government framework projects within the Ministry of Justice sector, contributing across RIBA Stages 1–6.

Your responsibilities will include supporting early-stage design development, producing technical detailing packages, preparing high-quality drawings, coordinating with consultants, and assisting with project delivery through to completion.

This role would suit an enthusiastic Architectural Technologist with around 5–10 years’ experience who is confident technically, eager to develop, and keen to work within a collaborative and mentoring-led environment.

What We’re Looking For

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• 5–10 years’ experience within an architectural practice
• Commercial project experience, although this is not essential
• Strong working knowledge of UK Building Regulations
• Proficiency in Revit
• Good technical detailing and drawing skills
• A collaborative approach and willingness to learn
• CIAT membership, or be working towards it
• An interest in sustainable design, MMC, or low-carbon construction would be advantageous

Why Join?

In return, you will receive:

• Salary of £40,000 – £50,000, depending on experience
• 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
• 3% employer pension contribution
• Sickness protection cover
• Paid professional fees
• Flexible working hours
• Hybrid working, with 2–3 days per week from home
• Modern, city-centre studio close to Leeds train station
• Supportive culture focused on collaboration, learning, and career development

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Architectural Technologist who is ready to take the next step in their career and join a progressive, ambitious practice with a strong focus on its people.
