Payroll Senior Specialist (Global Mobility & EU Payroll)

Location: Central London (Prime location near Piccadilly / Oxford Street) - Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote)
Salary / Package: 64k + Performance Bonus + Exceptional Benefits (30% retail discount, private pension, 34 days holiday)

Our client is one of the largest and most recognizable global apparel retailers in the world . Known for innovation, quality, and rapid international growth, they are looking for a dynamic HR/Payroll Senior Specialist to join their European headquarters in London.

This is a highly visible role where you will act as a key business partner to regional EU HR managers and payroll teams, taking full ownership of end-to-end payroll governance and expat global mobility.

The Role & Key Responsibilities

• EU Payroll Governance: Manage and validate end-to-end payroll cycles across various European markets, ensuring absolute compliance, strict controls, and accurate month-end financial reporting.
• Global Mobility & Immigration: Lead the mobility function for expatriates moving within the EU, coordinating directly with external tax advisors and internal stakeholders.
• Strategic Improvement: Deliver strategic input to elevate EU-level HR policies, payroll systems, and compliance tools.

What Our Client Is Looking For

• High-Volume Experience: 3 to 5 years of payroll management experience handling large-scale workforces (1,000+ employees), ideally within retail or fast-paced commercial environments.
• Technical Expertise: Deep, practical knowledge of taxation principles, expat rules, and major HRIS platforms (Workday or Workforce Systems preferred).
• Communication & Culture: Fluent English skills with the cultural flexibility needed to seamlessly collaborate with diverse international teams.
• Mindset: A proactive, self-driven individual with a "can-do" attitude, sharp numerical skills, and absolute discretion.
