Parts Business Development Manager

Aka Recruitment are excited to be working with one of our favourite clients , who truly value and respect their employees, to bring you this superb Business Development Manager position covering the York region . Working Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week , you will be rewarded with a basic salary of 35,000 , with an OTE on top , alongside a company vehicle, mobile phone and laptop.

Job Duties Include:

• Support the branch team and management in achieving daily sales targets.
• Actively promote and sell the company's products of the week and month.
• Provide expert product knowledge and advice to customers, assisting with both orders and queries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Communicate with customers both over the telephone and face-to-face, providing excellent levels of customer service.
• Attend client meetings to professionally promote the business, products and services.
• Identify customer requirements and potential sales opportunities.
• Understand customer and market trends to identify opportunities for further business development.
• Work closely with the branch team to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.
• Represent the business professionally when visiting customers and developing new relationships.

Requirements:

• Previous experience within a Business Development Manager or similar sales-focused position would be advantageous.
• Previous experience within the automotive parts trade would be highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of Kerridge, P24 and/or MAM Software would be an additional benefit.
• Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft systems.
• Strong telephone and face-to-face sales skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Confident when attending client meetings and presenting the business professionally.
• Full and clean UK Driving Licence is essential.
