Social Housing Painter

Location: Dundee Rate: 19/hr CIS Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join a team delivering planned maintenance and refurbishment works within occupied and void domestic properties. The role will primarily involve painting and decorating as part of kitchen and bathroom upgrades , lifecycle replacement programmes, and general property refurbishments across social housing and residential properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Internal painting and decorating of domestic properties.
• Preparation of surfaces including filling, sanding, and priming.
• Painting walls, ceilings, woodwork, doors, and skirting boards.
• Completion of decorating works following kitchen and bathroom replacement projects.
• Carrying out planned maintenance, refurbishment, and lifecycle works.
• Ensuring work areas are left clean, safe, and tidy.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Working within occupied properties while providing excellent customer service to tenants.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator within domestic or social housing environments.
• Experience working on kitchen and bathroom upgrade programmes.
