Take Centre Stage with Tradewind Recruitment - Drama Teachers Wanted Across Manchester!

Are you a qualified Drama Teacher who knows the difference between classroom teaching and simply putting on a show? Tradewind Recruitment Manchester is looking for experienced secondary specialists to inspire students across KS3 and GCSE in schools throughout Greater Manchester.

We are looking for qualified teachers with QTS or QTLS - not just performers, looking for a few hours on stage. Drama is a practical subject, and schools need teachers with the right qualifications, classroom experience and safeguarding requirements in place.

So, if you can direct a performance or bring a script to life, we'd love to hear from you.

Why Supply Teaching with Tradewind Deserves an Encore

• Daily Supply Means No Planning or Marking - For daily supply, simply arrive, deliver the lesson, inspire the class, leave the classroom tidy and head home when the curtain falls. No planning, no marking and no second act after work.
• Long-Term Roles Available Too - Looking for a longer production? Our long-term placements allow you to become part of a school's teaching team. As with any long-term teaching role, you'll be expected to plan, prepare resources and mark students' work.
• Competitive Pay - Your teaching talents deserve more than a standing ovation. We offer competitive rates that recognise your experience and expertise.
• Flexible Working - Whether you want a full timetable or a few days each week, we'll help you find a role that hits the right note.

Whether you're directing drama or teaching performance skills, we'll help you find your perfect role close to home.

• An Inhouse Payroll Team You Can Trust - No umbrella companies. No offshore funny business. Just a legal, efficient payroll service managed by our own inhouse payroll team, ensuring you're paid accurately and on time.
• Free Professional Development - Access thousands of CPD courses through The National College covering:

• Behaviour management
• SEND
• Subject curriculum development
• Teaching and learning from EYFS through to A Level

Helping you continue to develop your craft both inside and outside the classroom.

• Easy Online Timesheets - Quick, simple and easier than learning your lines before opening night.

We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) - essential.
• Experience teaching Drama within a secondary school setting.
• Ability to confidently teach practical lessons across KS3 and GCSE.
• Strong classroom management skills and subject knowledge.
• Good references supporting your Drama teaching specialism.
