Cover Supervisor

Graduates Wanted - Cover Supervisor Roles in Grimsby

Are you a graduate interested in gaining school experience before starting a teaching career? We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable graduates to work as cover supervisors in secondary schools across Grimsby.

As a cover supervisor, you will supervise classes during the short-term absence of a teacher. The role of a cover supervisor involves delivering pre-prepared lesson materials, maintaining a focused learning environment, and ensuring students stay on task. This is a temporary, flexible position, ideal for graduates who want to explore a career in education or gain classroom experience. Working as a cover supervisor gives you valuable insight into school life, helping you develop confidence in managing students and leading lessons.

Schools in Grimsby often require a cover supervisor for day-to-day and short-term placements, with opportunities for longer-term work. If you are adaptable, professional, and passionate about working with young people, we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements:

• Degree in any subject
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A positive and proactive attitude
• Valid DBS certificate (or willingness to apply)
