Art Teacher

Moore Teachers is recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in Hertfordshire for an Art Teacher to cover a short-term assignment until the October half-term.

Due to the immediate start required, applicants who hold QTS and an Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service will be given priority.

The role:

• Teaching Art across the secondary age range
• Minimal planning and preparation due to the short-term nature of the assignment
• Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be committed to raising achievement and inspiring students to reach their potential
• Be organised, enthusiastic and dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching
