Senior Town Planner (5+ Years' Experience)
Location: Flexible / Hybrid Working Available

A highly respected, design-led practice is seeking a Senior Town Planner to join its growing planning team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and commercially aware planner with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience to take the next step in their career within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

The Role

You will play a key role in delivering a wide range of planning projects across sectors including residential, commercial, education, and regeneration. Working closely with architects, urban designers, and external stakeholders, you will contribute to high-quality, sustainable developments from concept through to approval.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and managing planning applications and appeals
• Preparing planning statements, reports, and supporting documentation
• Providing strategic planning advice to clients and internal teams
• Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
• Liaising with local authorities, consultants, and stakeholders
• Supporting junior team members and contributing to team development

About You

• MRTPI qualified (or working towards)
• Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in a consultancy or similar environment
• Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage projects and deadlines effectively
• Commercial awareness and a proactive, solution-focused approach
