Warehouse and Annuity Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse & Annuities Specialist to join a well-established organisation based in Basingstoke. This varied role combines warehouse operations with administrative support for annuity and contract-related processes, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on and office-based responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of warehouse activities while providing accurate administration and support for annuity-related customer accounts and contracts.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Duties

• Receiving, inspecting and booking in deliveries.
• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels.
• Conducting regular stock takes and investigating discrepancies.
• Ensuring the warehouse remains organised, clean and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments.

Annuities & Administration Duties

• Processing annuity documentation and customer records.
• Managing contract renewals and ongoing account administration.
• Liaising with customers and internal departments regarding annuity enquiries.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Preparing reports and supporting the wider finance and operations teams.
• Handling data entry and updating internal systems with a high level of accuracy.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous warehouse or stores experience.
• Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience handling contracts, renewals, annuities, subscriptions, or customer accounts would be advantageous.
• Competent with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive and professional approach to work.
