Travel and Tourism Teacher - Part-Time Supply

Teacher of Travel and Tourism - Manchester

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! We have an urgent requirement for a Teacher of Travel and Tourism to join an Ofsted Outstanding sixth form college in central Manchester during a period of temporary staff absence.

This is a part-time supply role, three days per week - Monday, Wednesday and Thursday , teaching Travel and Tourism across Lower and Upper Sixth .

The Role

You will teach a combination of coursework and exam units, including:

• The World of Travel and Tourism - Lower Sixth, exam unit (January 2027)
• UK Tourist Destinations - Upper Sixth, coursework unit
• The Development of UK Tourism - Lower Sixth, coursework unit

The successful teacher will teach across Lower and Upper Sixth on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday .

Requirements

To be considered for this Travel and Tourism Teacher role, you will need to:

• Hold a recognised teaching qualification for secondary or post-compulsory education, such as PGCE/QTS or PCET/QTLS
• Have relevant experience teaching Travel and Tourism
• Be confident teaching post-16 students across coursework and exam units
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
• Provide professional references and a full employment/education history
• Be willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check
