Carpenter Multi-Trade Operative - Repairs & Maintenance

Location: Tamworth and surrounding areas
Rate: 200 per day

Think Recruitment are working with a repairs and maintenance contractor looking for an experienced Carpenter Multi-Trade Operative to carry out repairs within tenanted properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete responsive carpentry repairs within occupied homes.
• Repair and replace doors, frames, locks, handles, skirting boards and other timber fixtures.
• Carry out repairs to kitchen units, worktops and flooring.
• Undertake associated multi-trade tasks, including basic plumbing, patch plastering and making good.
• Identify faults and complete repairs to a high standard.
• Communicate professionally with tenants and work considerately in their homes.
• Maintain safe, tidy work areas and follow health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Carpenter Multi-Trade Operative.
• Experience carrying out repairs and maintenance in tenanted properties.
• Valid Blue CSCS Card.
• Own Van
• Practical ability across carpentry and associated maintenance trades.
• Good customer service skills and a reliable approach.
