Picker Packer – Construction Materials

Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00am–8:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent after 12 weeks

We are currently recruiting for a Picker Packer to join a busy team working with construction materials in Sittingbourne.

The Role

As a Picker Packer, you will be responsible for accurately picking and packing construction materials. Your duties will include:

• Using an order sheet to identify the items required
• Going into the warehouse to pick all items listed on the order sheet
• Bringing the picked items back to your workstation
• Checking and packing the order together ready for dispatch
• Using basic IT systems as part of the role
• Keeping your workstation and warehouse areas clean and organised
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Heavy lifting will be involved throughout the shift , so you must be comfortable with physically demanding work

About You

The successful candidate will need:

• Good IT skills
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to read and follow an order sheet
• A reliable and hardworking attitude
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• To be physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting throughout the shift
• Previous warehouse, picking or packing experience would be an advantage
