Principal Air Quality Consultant

Principal Air Quality Consultant

London

Hybrid Working

50,000 - 65,000 plus benefits

My client, an established environmental consultancy specialising in air quality and climate change, is looking for an experienced Principal Air Quality Consultant to join its London team.

If you are at the point in your career where you want your expertise to carry more weight, this is an opportunity to get closer to the decisions that shape major development projects.

The work starts early. Really early. From site acquisition and masterplan creation right through planning stages, you will provide specialist air quality and climate change advice at stages where the right input can help shape sustainable places from the outset.

You will be joining a business with a strong reputation across the planning and development sector, but the appeal here is the people. Your experience will be valued, your ideas will be heard, and you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the consultancy.

Why this role?

• Work on exciting, high-profile development projects
• Competitive salary
• Generous annual leave
• Genuine opportunities for professional growth
• A collaborative and supportive team environment
• Hybrid working opportunities
• Competitive benefits package
• Opportunity to play an important role within a growing consultancy

As a Principal Air Quality Consultant , you will bring senior-level technical expertise and judgement to a varied portfolio of development work.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing specialist air quality and climate change consultancy services
• Supporting projects from site acquisition and masterplan development
• Helping clients understand and navigate air quality and climate change considerations
• Delivering clear, practical, and trusted environmental advice
• Working collaboratively with clients and wider project teams
• Contributing your ideas, experience, and expertise to the continued development of the business
• Helping maintain the high standard of service and advice for which the consultancy is recognised

What will make you successful?

The ideal Principal Air Quality Consultant will bring strong experience within air quality and/or climate change consultancy, alongside a genuine interest in the planning and development sector. You will be comfortable communicating your expertise, working collaboratively, and contributing ideas beyond your immediate project work.

Most importantly, you will want to be somewhere that values good advice, good people, and good ideas - not simply another consultancy where you become a name on an org chart.

If you are an experienced Principal Air Quality Consultant looking for the chance to work on high-profile development projects, influence schemes from the very beginning and become part of a consultancy where your contribution genuinely matters, this could be a very interesting next move.
