The Role

Drivers will be transporting a variety of palletised and general haulage goods across the UK , ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely, efficiently and on time.

This is a tramping position , so drivers will be away from home during the working week.

Typical duties include:

• Driving HGV Class 1 (C+E) articulated vehicles
• Nationwide deliveries and collections
• Transporting palletised and general haulage goods
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks
• Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork
• Communicating with transport planners
• Complying with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
• Providing a professional level of customer service

Candidate Requirements

Candidates must have:

• Full UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of Driver Hours Regulations
• Professional and reliable attitude
• Previous tramping experience preferred

Pay & Benefits

• £19.50 per hour – Monday to Friday
• £21.00 per hour – Saturday & Sunday
