Academics are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Llantrisant on a full-time basis .

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is looking to make a genuine difference to their learning, development and day-to-day school experience.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment. You will provide support to pupils both within the classroom and, where required, on a one-to-one or small-group basis.

Pay Rate: from 93 a day

Teaching Assistant - Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons and classroom activities
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils where required
• Help prepare and organise classroom resources and learning materials
• Encourage positive behaviour and support pupils' social and emotional development
• Build positive relationships with pupils and help create a safe, inclusive learning environment
• Work effectively as part of a wider school team

Teaching Assistant - Requirements

• Previous experience working with children, ideally within a school or educational setting
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, caring and empathetic approach
• The ability to build positive relationships with children of different ages, backgrounds and abilities
• A proactive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• A commitment to safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
• Right to work in the UK
