HR and Recruitment Administrator

Salter Grange is recruiting a Graduate Operations and HR Administrator on behalf of our client, a market-leading specialist electrical contractor based in Armagh, delivering MV/LV cable installation, termination, busbar and containment solutions on mission-critical projects across data centres, pharmaceuticals, renewables and critical infrastructure.

This is a great opportunity for a graduate to gain hands-on experience across recruitment, workforce mobilisation and HR support in a fast-paced engineering and construction environment, working closely with the Operations, Recruitment and HR teams to coordinate hiring and onboarding across multiple projects.

HR and Recruitment Administrator Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end recruitment for operations and site-based roles, including posting vacancies and managing candidates on the ATS
• Coordinate interviews and scheduling between candidates, hiring managers and project teams
• Support onboarding and mobilisation, ensuring documentation is completed on time
• Maintain accurate recruitment, onboarding and personnel records
• Liaise with candidates, employees and stakeholders on recruitment and onboarding queries
• Track and report on recruitment and mobilisation progress to support workforce planning
• Provide general administrative support to Operations and HR, including training coordination and employee communications

HR and Recruitment Administrator Requirements

• Previous admin experience and/or a recent degree in HR or a related discipline
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Confident communicator, comfortable building relationships with candidates and stakeholders
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with documentation and data
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Full driving licence and own transport
