Humanities Teacher - RE/History

Are you a passionate and dedicated Humanities teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are working on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school to recruit a qualified and enthusiastic Humanities teacher with a specialism in RE and History .

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school environment where Humanities subjects are highly valued. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality RE and History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 .

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging RE and History lessons that inspire and challenge students
• Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, adapting lessons to meet the needs of different abilities
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Contribute to the wider Humanities department and school community
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement
• Encourage students to develop their knowledge, critical thinking and understanding of key historical, religious and cultural topics

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Specialism in RE, History or a related Humanities subject
• Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge across RE and/or History
• Experience teaching Key Stages 3 and 4
• A passion for Humanities and a commitment to supporting student progress
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
