Are you methodical, highly organised and someone who takes pride in getting the detail right? We are recruiting a Temporary Finance Administrator to join a busy Finance team in South Shields during a busy period of change.

This is a high-volume, process-driven role , where accuracy really is key. You could be supporting the processing of (Apply online only) payments per day , so we're looking for someone who is comfortable with repetitive work, can maintain concentration and has an excellent eye for detail.

If you're someone who enjoys working through a busy workload, following processes and making sure everything is 100% accurate , this could be a great temporary opportunity for you.

What's On Offer?

• 14.00 - 15.38 per hour, depending on experience
• 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Flexibility to start between 8:00am or 9:00am , with a corresponding finish time
• South Shields location, free on-site parking
• 4-6 month temporary contract , depending on business needs
• Start date: Thursday 8th October

The Role

You'll join an established Accounts and Finance team, providing essential administrative support across two key areas:

Daily bank payments

• Supporting the processing of high-volume daily bank payments
• Setting up payments through the banking system
• Checking information carefully before payments are processed
• Ensuring all supporting paperwork and backup documentation is complete and accurate
• Managing documentation and information across multiple payment runs
• Maintaining a high level of accuracy at all times

Deal book administration

• Reviewing information for vehicles sold across approximately 20 sites
• Checking profit information recorded against vehicle sales
• Maintaining accurate deal book records
• Identifying and investigating discrepancies
• Processing a significant volume of information accurately and efficiently

About You

This role would suit someone who is naturally methodical, organised and detail-focused . You'll be comfortable working with high volumes of information and won't lose accuracy when completing repetitive tasks.

You'll ideally have:

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good Excel skills
• Strong organisation and administration skills
• Confidence working with numbers and financial information
• The ability to process high volumes of information accurately
• A methodical and process-driven approach
• The ability to maintain concentration when completing repetitive tasks
• Previous finance, accounts or finance administration experience would be beneficial

Experience using Pinnacle and banking systems would be advantageous, although not essential.
