SEN Support Worker / Teaching Assistant - Complex Needs

Do you have experience supporting people with complex needs?

We are recruiting for a number of specialist education settings across North Liverpool and are looking for caring, experienced people to work with pupils who require high levels of support throughout the school day .

You don't have to come from a traditional school background. We are keen to hear from people with experience in:

• Care and support work
• Residential care
• Healthcare
• SEN support
• Personal or intimate care
• Autism
• Complex learning difficulties
• Non-verbal communication
• Moving and handling
• Feeding and toileting
• Behaviour support

These pupils need adults around them who are calm, patient, dependable and confident with personal care .

Your role could involve supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis , helping them access learning, communicating with them, supporting personal care routines and helping them feel safe and settled throughout the school day.
