Salary: 55,000 + annual bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Office-based, close to Liverpool Street Station
Care homes: 7

We are recruiting for an experienced Group Finance Manager to join an established care group currently operating across 7 care homes .

This is a hands-on management role, ideal for an experienced finance professional who already has knowledge of the care sector and has previous experience managing a finance team.

The role

You will oversee the group's finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls and effective day-to-day management of the finance team.

You will currently manage a team of 2 , while working closely with senior management and the wider operational teams across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day finance function across the group
• Manage and support the finance team
• Prepare and review management accounts and financial reports
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Monitor cash flow, income and expenditure
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Maintain strong financial controls and processes
• Work closely with Home Managers and senior management
• Support financial decision-making across the 7 care homes
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems

About you

We are looking for someone with:

• Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Group Finance Manager, Financial Controller or similar
• Previous experience within the care sector is essential
• Experience managing and developing a finance team
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and management accounts
• Excellent organisational and analytical skills
• Strong Excel and finance systems knowledge
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• A practical, hands-on approach to finance

• 55,000 salary
