A specialist contractor is looking to appoint an experiencedCivil Site Supervisorto work on a major brownfield industrial redevelopment project inPort Talbot.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long-term project with atwo-year programme, overseeing earthworks and associated environmental works as part of a significant redevelopment scheme.

The Role

As Civil Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with the project programme.

Key duties will include:

Managing and supervising the site team
Coordinating subcontractors and site activities
Managing site health and safety
Coordinating all earthworks and associated environmental works
Managing site administration and daily records
Liaising with the project management team and subcontractors
Monitoring progress and ensuring works are delivered to programme
Ensuring works are completed to the required quality and specification
Identifying and resolving any issues arising on site

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in acivil engineering or earthworks environment, with a proven track record of supervising site teams and subcontractors.

You should have:

Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Site Manager or similar
SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid
Strong civil engineering, earthworks or groundworks experience
Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
Good understanding of health and safety requirements
Strong organisational and communication skills
The ability to coordinate multiple activities and maintain programme progress
