English Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Looking for Stability Until Summer? This Could Be the Perfect Fit.

English Teacher - Maternity Cover
Starting January | Bradford Secondary School

If you're looking for a role where you can truly settle in, build relationships and see the impact of your work over time, this maternity cover opportunity could be exactly what you're after.

Starting in January, you'll join a well-managed secondary school in Bradford with a supportive leadership team and a committed English department.

This isn't a short-term stop-gap position. The school wants someone who will become part of the team, contribute fully to department life, and provide consistency for students throughout the duration of the cover.

The school serves a diverse community and, like many inner-city schools, requires teachers who can combine warmth, resilience and strong classroom management.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a passion for English and literature
• Can engage and motivate learners across KS3 and KS4
• Builds positive relationships with students
• Maintains high standards and expectations
• Wants to make a genuine difference

In return:

• A supportive working environment
• Excellent department support
• Opportunity to establish yourself within a successful school
• Potential for future opportunities beyond the initial contract

Start January with a role that offers challenge, reward and the opportunity to have a lasting impact on students' learning journey.
