Artisan Recruitment are looking for a Facade Site Manager for a project in Central London. The SMwill be managing facadeA site manager for facade leak investigations and remediation oversees daily site operations, fault diagnosis, and repair works to ensure the building envelope is weather-tight, safe, and compliant.
Responsibilities will include:
Leak Investigation & Diagnostics: Coordinate diagnostic testing (such as hose or spray testing) to identify the precise root cause of water penetration through curtain walling, rainscreen, windows, or render.
Repair Execution: Supervise remedial works including sealant replacement, flashing repairs, cavity barrier reinstatement, and membrane renewals.
Subcontractor Management: Lead specialist sealant, mastic, and cladding contractors on site, ensuring work quality meets design specifications.
Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous Test and Inspection Plans (TIPs), photo logs, and QA documentation for every repaired elevation.
Health & Safety: Manage safe working at height (scaffolding, MEWPs, or rope access/abseiling), issue permits to work, and conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks.
